MYLNÅ – THE MILL

Mylnå dates back to 1864 when it was first built on the river Øyra and powered by running water. Today the mill is a historical monument to the grinding of flours of many sorts by highly skilled staff and advanced production techniques. The many different flours have all become favourites with the customers!

Mylnå in Volda preserves ancient traditions. Old grinding stones are used to process the grain, and as an added benefit only grain from Norwegian farms, most of it ecological, is processed at Mylnå.
