Aass Brewery is Norway’s oldest brewery and was established in 1834, when the very first beer was bottled. A few years later, Paul Lauritz Aass took over the operation of the brewery, and since then the leadership of the brewery has passed from generation to generation in the Aass family. Today, the brewery is run by the fifth generation of Aass, by Christian A. Aass.
Bryggeri
During the tour, you get an insight into Aass Bryggeri’s long and proud history, you get to learn about how Aass brews its beer and you get to taste various Aass beers produced at the brewery. The tour ends with a beer tasting with accompanying tasting board. Some of the tours have also included other food such as Italian pizza from Aass’ own wood-fired stone oven.
